Welcome to TimeTrace. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our mobile application and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TimeTrace, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our application.

2. Description of Service

TimeTrace is a time tracking application that integrates with Google Calendar to provide time tracking capabilities for calendar events. The application allows users to:

• Connect to their Google Calendar
• View upcoming calendar events
• Track time spent on calendar events
• Adjust event start and end times
• Receive notifications for event start/end times
• Visualize tracked time

3. Account Registration and Requirements

To use TimeTrace, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Register with a valid Google account via Auth0
• Grant necessary permissions for Google Calendar access
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Provide accurate and complete information

You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Obligations

When using TimeTrace, you agree to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect the privacy and rights of others
• Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Not interfere with the proper operation of the service
• Not engage in any activity that could harm the service or other users

5. Intellectual Property Rights

TimeTrace and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TimeTrace Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our software
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

6. Third-Party Services

TimeTrace integrates with third-party services such as Google Calendar and Auth0. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or other policies of these third-party services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeTrace Inc., its officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the service
• Any changes to the service or any temporary or permanent cessation of the service
• The unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
• Statements or conduct of any third party on the service
• Any other matter relating to the service

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the service is free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the service or contact us to request account deletion.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in San Francisco, California.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and TimeTrace Inc. regarding our service and supersede any prior agreements we might have had.
